Gents,
I picked up this fuse - the middle one (with a standard 2cm Kpf.Z45 to the left and a standard AZ47 to the right).
I thought that I had bagged myself a late war, unmarked AZ55, but apparently not.
It accepts the standard Duplexkapsel and at their widest point all 3 fuses are 17.7mm wide.
The AZ47 and the 2cm Kpf.Z45 measure 14.9mm across the threads but this middle one is wider, being 15.75mm across the threads. Why? and what is it?
Have you fuse-guru's out there come across this one before? The pitch of the thread appears to be very similar. Did the Germans use bast#rd thread sizes in the experimental stages?
Thanks
