Uknown Australian Fuze.

Who can identify this Australian fuze No ? I guess it was made in other countries too.
It seems to be a Navy fuze and is sectioned by a 90 degree cut. 2"x14 threads. Top has 4 sections.
Grey aluminium top and brass base.

On the second section is: MF 59 LOT DH in circle.
On the 4th section is: MF / 59 - LOT - 04695

I would like the fuze number and use if possible. Thanks. Ron.

I think, if it was British, it would be an L1 fuze, which was the last fuze for the 3.7" Gun. It was a Time and Percussion fuze. I don't know when Australia started using the FnNn system.

See attached diagram of L1 fuze. I've no idea what the Australian nomenclature would have been.

Although the Lot Number is prefixed by the word Lot, I think it is actually the serial number of the time mechanism.
