Hmm, also not able to log in at the moment even with a password reset... Happy to see SA back but will be even happier when I can get access to my account. Thanks to all for the updates about what is happening. Kudos to all!

Darrol - Nothing intended towards you at all. Never has been, you set up the ordnance section on the original SA anyway. However this new site may be fine with BUYERS (although I still think it is total rubbish) but as far as a seller go which is what matters, I dont like it one bit. If sellers do not advertise their items on the site it doesn't matter what buyers think as there will not be items to purchase. The sellers / dealers must have confidence in the site that it shows their items in the best light, this new site does not. The revised site is a complete 180 about face. It looks terrible, maybe its time for a new Militaria auction site to be created which is created by somebody who sells for a living and knows what they are doing. If that is a completely new site or BOCN and it is better than SA, they will have all my items to advertise.

Well that's changed since yesterday! Still, I suppose still less than half what it would cost to sell on another well known site, if the items could be sold there in the first place!! There is a note on the site that reads as follows for ease of reference:

"Apologies for the hassle that the downtime period has caused. We won't bore you with what went wrong but will say the site has been restored to the most recent version of software with lots more features. Prettification of the site will start to take place asap.
We also recognise that not all features are back on-line as yet so please bear with us for a day or so as we try to get everything in place.
It has been a tough job but we are nearly there.
Thank you for your patience... "

Still can't access my account. Is anyone else (buyer or seller) having problems logging in or do we all have to re-register?
 
You can't see the items for sale with the tiny little thumbnail pictures. They don't catch your eye when browsing. A selling no-no. Why bother with a picture if you can't see it. Need to be much LARGER.

I agree that the search result thumbnails could do with being a bit larger. Perhaps that would be something that could be changed once the site is up and running properly.

YES! I do wish they would get their act together. It's very annoying for bidders. And the poor guys trying to sell stuff must be furious. I hope they are too embarrassed to charge fees for their services.
