I would also be very careful and always make sure yourself when buying items. They come under Section 5 of the firearms law and need a deact cert. You can buy the repro copies which I believe is lagal as it is a toy/copy.
The more think i about that one on sale, the more im having my doubts about it with what the seller told me and the authenticity of the Panzerfaust...
Give me a couple of days please chaps and i will sneak some pics.
Hi Spott,
Not forgotten, its just i havnt been near the shop yet.I hoping its not gone!
As soon as im in area,i will take pics as ive put the digi camera in the van fully charged this time!
Ok Fellas,
Old waff`s dropped in at the shop today between jobs and managed to grab some shots.
I really quite like the look of this one now ive had my grubby mitts on it!
What say you??...
The head does not part from the bodytube but look like it will after a good long soak in pen oil or diesel.
Nothing in the tube although you can see what i reckon is the bottom of the head with the fins wrapped around?
Im assured by 2 dealers now that you do not need a de-ac certificate for this as its in relic condition?
I know some of you boys reckon i should but the seller has asked JC himself and the man says its cool to sell as is?
Feel free to add to this of course please!
did i read that right the warhead/rocket are not removeable ??.sorry mate but i would WANT a deact certificate or even an FFE cert with it or at least the seller to proove it strips totally, otherwise i wouldnt touch it
Fair comment Spott,
I really didnt want to yank on the head too hard or i could have caused damage to it.
Tricky one this is!
Tube def empty, head looks like its had cut marks and been re-welded.
Also the head doesnt seem to have anything in it.Kinda like mine before any of you wiseguys pipe up!
Can you guarantee it is FFE? If not then as Spotter said leave well alone. The current owner should seek professional advice but that is up to him. If it was me, I would instigate that advice...XRay etc etc If all well it would make an excellent item for display
