Evening all,
As mentioned in the Sea War Museum (SWM) thread, there will be a new "Explosion" Museum opening next year (2025) around the March /April timeframe. The new museum building is adjacent to the existing SWM. A lot of the exhibits are already in place and I was very fortunate enough to have a private tour.
Apart from the ordnanace stuff, there will be sections /displays for whaling, commerical diving and much more.
If you get an opportuntity, both Museums are definiately worth the trip - closest airport is Billund (daily flights from Amsterdam) and from there it is a 2 hr drive.
