M557 pd fuze factory inert

This is a factory inerted M557 PD FUZE.
The ogive is ink stamped FUZE, PD, M557 INERT MA-E-750 3-75
The Booster is stamped BOOSTER M125A1 DVA -1 3-31 1975 and over stamped in ink INERT..The booster delay is ink stamped EMPTY
The Booster cup is ink stamped INERT and unscrews to show a dummy resin charge

Where these made for the factory reps to take around with them?

honestly ref sales reps ive no idea,,i would have thought they were for instructional use
 
or both?

I ask because ive seen SAA in presentation boxes before,and some where apparently done for the arms sales market?

Fuze PD/SQ/D 557

These particular Fuzes were for Handling and Instructional use and were turned out by the lorry load !
