This museum, created by ONE man is located at Dick Laub NTC Command Center at Liberty Station. All models, displays and many things you see are made by him, he served in USN and USMC and is very knowledgeable about naval and military history. He creates his models from scratch, de novo, out of variety of repurposed materials from Home Depot, Walmart etc. He described to me the process of finding scales to future models by adjusting them to the size of tiny human mannequins, very clever. Many things on display are original and very rare. If you want to have a good military history time, please visit his museum.

Joe's info, call to make sure he is open, it is a one man show, if he is on vacation, the museum is closed.

I am going back to San Diego for a week, staying at Liberty Station, and I am pretty sure I am going to see Joe's Nautical History Museum again. So if anyone has any questions, I can try.
