Hi my first post on this forum and a happy Sunday to all. I am a complete novice but I have what I think is 1950´s metallic ammo box. It has the crow´s foot mark stamped on the lid and bears very clear stencilled lettering in white on one side - BIC-12-66. Dimensions are 16.50 inches length, 7 3/4 inches wide (including lid) and 7 inches deep (including lid). There are some alpha numerics impressed to the lid but are quite difficult to read - with the exception of the crow´s foot I can make out 20020 (with possibly an A before this. The carry handle looks a little different to those I´ve seen on this forum and in online searches. Maybe it is not for ammunition?
Any ideas ?
