German fuze ZmWM

Hello,
Following the acquisition of a ZmWM fuze, I noticed that the adjustment ring is different from the current model, the lugs are located inside the ring and on the body of the fuze and not outside as on my model on the left, even though it is from the same year of manufacture.
My documentation does not mention this particularity, is it an early model or something else?
Thank you

Hello,
A priori, this is indeed an early model as shown by these documents from 1916 and 1918.
Interesting.
