And what is the fourth on the right (sorry no dimensions) ?

Thanks.

Hard to tell from the photo, but the one on the right looks like a 35/37mm, possibly a baton round or similar type. Is there any headstamp?

The fuzes on the first three look like 'ARGES' fabrication to me, so they could be Austrian...

The Austrians would have better English on their labels.
Is it possible that sonebody made his own props as the bodies look much like tin cans?

Hi EOD,

These grenades came from an important foreign (confidential) deposit and they are real and well manufactured but not by the country where they were found.

Cheers.

Maybe somebody copied the ARGES fuzes then or just used their fuzes which are certainly obtainable as such.
When you have offical channels you may ask back to ARGES if they ever made fuzes with black bodies.
Are any marking present on these fuzes? How do the detonators or ignition units look like?

If you look closely you can see emission holes on the bodies. Most evident on the silver, but can be seen on all. The lower quality of construction is typical of modern commercial RCA Munitions. I wonder if it is possible for a low level company to contract out for fuzes alone, to be assembled on their own products?

The Arges style fuze (or features from) has been copied by several countries, could they be commercial Chinese exports? Some of the fuze features have been seen on Chinese military stuff.

Didn't the Chinese lookalikes look somewhat different?

I know the Chinese are not very good in theri ammo english sometimes but would expect better than that on the labels. Just my thought...

The military stuff yes, but on commercial materials you can run the full range of excellent to laughable.

Minen there are just to many variables for an ID from one photo. Without something to narrow it down it is just guesswork, especially on civilian type riot control, as these appear to be. Other than a few factory brochures and some BS general books there has only been one book devoted to riot control weapons, and while an absolutely excellent and well done book, it was done in 1966 so is of very limited use today.
