I must recomend a visit to eden camp near Malton in yorkshire. What a fantastic day out. There is just so much to see that you could be there for the best part of a day. Its an old 2ww prisoner of war camp that has been made into a museum. There is vehicles, bombs, planes, tanks and some excellent walk through scenes of blitzed streets, trenches, a submarine being depth charged, tunnelers escaping from a german pow camp and how the camp looked when it was holding german prisoners. theres just to much to list here so if your up that way be sure to pay it a visit.:tinysmile_twink_t:

Just reviving this post, after 14 years I finally got around to going to Eden Camp.
THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, YOU ALL NEED TO VISIT if you've got the slightest interest in such things (my wife hasn't and enjoyed the visit also!!).
Well set out with 20 plus huts all rammed full of items, information and all the good stuff we like.
I've been to a lot of museums over the years but this is certainly right up there as one of the very best.
