I've seen one very similar. If I remember correctly, it was a variation on the PTTF, the large versions ie the 31 or 45 second. I think that they had 1-2 variants on display or in storage at the old Picatinny museum. Check with Vollenberg to see if they made it to the Aberdeen collection that his crew photographed. If not I may have it in some shelf shots that I took years ago. The ones I saw were experimental and I don't think that they were ever adopted.
Sorry Pete, I was only able to find one "shelf" shot that included the item, and it wasn't labeled. I always thought it was a modification to use the fuze for bombs, but that was only a guess. It's probably lucky I have a photo at all. It was one of hundreds of fuzes there, I just walked the aisles and took photos of the shelves. This is rough scan of the photo, I could dig out the negative for a more detailed scan, but didn't think you were that interested in just the fuze. Enjoy, JO
