bunker shelter ???

the observation posts are generally like pillboxes/gun emplacements this is more like a british "stanton" air raid shelter
 
Hmm, looking at the date on one of the radios (1944) it would not have been a forward observer post to report incomming german bombers. Strange.

Hey,

judging from the pic's I'd say most of the stuff found inside must have been broken, busted and beaten up before being abandoned there, radios and other equipment simply do not loose panels etc by them selves, those must have been missing already when the stuff was left behind. My guess is it was just a convenient dump at hand some time.
