I would like to know if this fired grenade is a British L1A2 anti-riot gas grenade?
It was gray painted but is worn except on top and bottom.
There are 9 case holes- 3 lots of 3 holes about 4mm diameter (5/32").
Adaptor is green with raised MTY 4 on it.
Striker Mech No 3. MTY MK 1/3 73. Filled 1976.
Who is DMB and TW as on the base ?

Thanks Chris but I found different BOCN info in an old entry 21 Oct 2020 on L1 irritant CS grenade series.
Plus answer from Bonnex.

TW 98 is the part number for hand grenade anti-riot series L1A1 to L1A3.
DMB is Davies Metal Box who made the can in 1976. It is a British grenade.
