Superb Endel

You have an amazing talent at restoring these boxes......!!!!! congratulations on a great haul.

regards Kev

Endel you have had such good luck this summer. I love the pictures.

The 3rd picture with the T.Mi.35 (Stahl) is really good. This is not a Teller mine that you see very often. The condition looks really excellent with a very nice twin mine carrier. Also a fine looking stielgr. 41.

Does the mine have any markings?

Thank you
PC

Yes E. Thank you for the extra pictures.

What do the markings mean in the second picture?
I can't read them very well

PC

Does it read:
Nur als
Spreng-Mun.
Verwendbar ??
Meaning: " To be used only as explosion materiel" = demolition work etc - not as mine??

There must have been some reason that a mine would be marked "as explosive material".
Why go to all the trouble of making a mine and then using it for something that a simple package of explosives would have done?

The mine must have been damaged in some way that it could not be fuzed.

T.Mi.35 rack manufacturers

This one...

Your discussion excited my interest and i made some several pics. There were more mine racks manufacturers.

Regards
E

Hi, I've got a c207 box . On the lid is a 1942 date, a Roman numeral II,c207 and what looks like a 3 bladed propeller inside an inverted triangle. I've been reading through the forum and I thought it was an ammunition carrier for a two pounder. Would I be right in thinking this. Also, how were the shells carried within the box,we're they in containers.
