Ive already lost the blue one on the other side as when i opened it,some oil ran across and off it went.. Gutted!
Im putting the cap back on this today and will take it to the watchmenders on Monday.
Will be good news if Phil can get his to tick again too!

Hi Paul
Re your Advise about number 26 detonator.
I think i can safely say that it has been frozen and heated and boiled in oil
so i am going to scrape the remains out of the capsule and fill it with epoxy resin and return it back in the clocks once restored.
Your clocks look factory and could only see a possibility of a bit of gum or resin that might just be holding the workings up.
I have had mainsprings purely stuck with old oil that just turns sticky
if not regulary cleaned.
A good clean of a pocket watch movement should last about 15 years
give or take before the mechanism starts to flounder.
