There is no date on the item. I just lucked out when I got it off E-Bay. I didn't see where the purchse numbers are. Where did you see that? I am curious myself because I have never seen them before.

Hi Joe,
thank you for uploading this interesting item. Do you know from when this advertisement leaflet dates ? Another thing hat I wonder about : 3 countries USA, FR and DE are quoted as having purchased 5 Million pieces.
What were they used for in such large quantities ?
