It would appear David J. Summersby (c.1923) was an hotelier - Red Lion Hotel, Henley on Thames. A prolific collector of German WWII articles. In 1969 he managed to get the Science Museum to sell him a spare V2 that they had in storage.

What happened to his collection? It would appear that the Science Museum may have had a duplicate (One hopes!), if it was that museum that sold it to David J Summersby
