As far as I know these fuzes were specifically made for the flak guns on Kriegsmarine ships as to lay a wall of splinters at a short distance of the ship. The W means Withworth, as some German naval shells used Withworth thread.
Is there no Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp to be found on the fuze ? The 'bird" with swastika together with a M....

According to Hogg, the Zt.Z.S/5 was the standard Zt.Z.S/30 with the clock mechanism regeared to give a max running time of 5 seconds.
It was used with the 28cm high explosive shells to give a very accurate airbusts at short ranges.
There is no mentioned of the S/5W - probably as what DJH has highlighted above...............
