WW2 German Luftschutz Mother and Baby Gasmask

Considering all the bombs dropped on Germany During WW2, I always wondered what the German Reich gave to the people to combat all the smoke,
dust and any other nasties that might be lurking in the air?

Well, here it is, The Luftschutz Mother and Baby Gasmask, made by Auer.

I've never seen another one before and I'm delighted to own this one.

All complete with their Waffenampt and Red Cross stamps and other various markings.

The leaflet alone must be a very rare piece in it's self.

The gasmask filter fitted inside the childs hood.

Mother would operate the hand pump and create air into the mask hood.
