3 inch Stokes

I would love to acquire a "relic condition" 3 inch WW1 British Stokes projectile. just a must for any WW1 collection. Daryl, you sure seem to know where to visit whilst in Europe. thanks again for the awesome pictures and keep 'em coming!!! Dano

A lot of that stuff is looking like an accident waiting to happen. I really like the huge projectiles and fragments of the huge projectiles.

like the crate of stokes or the pallet of grens lol

Great pics, i love seeing relics in the wild so to speak

Mondo thanks Daryl, having a bit of trouble officially thanking you the electronic way, so here it is the old school way. THANKS....Dano

Any tips as to where this is? I wouls love to buy/trade for some of those fuse caps or empty shells. The mills looked great too as well as the V.B.s

This has been one of my favorite threads on BOCN. I assure you I am still out there collecting and such. WWI relics are stilll my favorite. I expect in the near future to be posting again as for 2012 I have two resolutions 1) get my computer fixed 2) get as much trim as possible. No pics here as I got busted by the librarian for plugging my digi-cam into their computer. I sure miss y'all and hope to reconnect soon....Dano

Hello all,

After seeing these pictures in an older thread I was able to locate this site on the internet. I had a very nice discussion with the owner and even walked away with a few inert items. He was more than willing to part with them. I wonder paul did he give you a tour of his museum? If not then you surely missed out.

Dano If you ever have the time for a trip this is one I wouldn't miss out on. I will post pics of the items he gave me ater New Years. I think I walked away with 15 fuzes, an German Egg Grenade, two 77mm German Casings, and a few other very nice bits. I can't wait to go back in April or May 2012.
