Hi all,
At a Flea market recently,I found a knife that measures 12" long with a blade length of 7" and with a width of 1 1/10" it is formed out of a solid length of Brass, please see pictures below. Judging by the handle, It was once a lever of some kind (poss from a vintage car?). The blade itself appears to have been fashioned by hand and has a an edge to it, the implication is that it was designed has a thrusting weapon only, if indeed it is a weapon at all?
Alternatively, it has occured to me that this could have been produced for use in an ordnance factory, the Brass would not have caused sparks! You will see stamped on the handle "19 R.A.C 17". Any thoughts, info or ideas would be welcome.
