WW1 German fuze? If so, what type?

please see the attached photos. This looks similar to an aluminium No.80 but a little more of a point to the top cap, but the time calibrations only run to 20 and the base, including the course threads, has a German look about it. Anyone have any thoughts on what it might be - apart from a very small '3' on the base, there are no markings.

many thanks, Dave

It's a Krupp double action fuze. It could have been made in germany or in license somewhere else. The question is (as always) which country does it come from? The dutch Tijdschokbuis No.3 is very similar, but it had a safety pin and the hole for the fuze setting tool is different. I have seen many of such Krupp fuzes but this shape for the fuze setting key from your fuze is a new one...

Thank you Alpini, thats a start! As you say, the setting tool hole is unusual. Hopefully someone will be able to add to your information.

Many thanks, Dave
