Greetings
Can anyone tell me if this item is genuine?
There are faint traces of lettering on the side of the "projectile".
It was auctioned as a wooden-bulleted blank.
And any info on the headstamps and stencils would be much appreciated.
Am not even clear as to the country from which it comes. LOL
I have a Belgian case (FN) also and i note that the annular clip groove is different.
On the Belgian case the groove is 1mm deeper and nearly 1mm wider.
But outer edges of grooves are the same distance from the outer rim edges on both cases.
Perhaps i'll do some comparison photos one day.
Thanks for any help. I know that wooden-bulleted blanks are fairly common in some small-arms calibres.
Would like to know if there are others in larger calibres (and, of course, whether this one is a good'n)
