trench art

Seen lots of these cow gun cases done similar to this, or with soldered on handles. Always with a ring or two pressed in around the case. Surely Falcon with you skills you could restore them to pretty good cases. 2pr

With the necks having been expanded like that and the rings around the case I think these are unfortunately beyond saving.

This is just the same as the 40mm S-Gun trench art case I saw last year. If only they had used a bloody 2 Pounder...

Those are the first two

6 Pr 600 wht cases I have seen in 20 years- how tragic is that--:tinysmile_cry_t4:

I know what you mean , although picked up a LV aden round with a unfired projectile made into a ashtray for a tenner shame they mutilated the case peasants

Well, you know when the guys abused the hard-to-find items, at the time they were probably knee deep in them. They would have give anything for a 2 Pdr case, but had a surplus of 1-1/2 Pdr cases. This stuff comes and goes in huge quantities, and then suddenly it is rare.
