I think the second item in your photos is maybe a compass corrector , used on aircraft to adjust the compass to the right bearings. These were also used on the early type bombsights which incorporated a compass in them (MK IX CSBS). The ref No. would be able to correctly identify both items for you. Someone better qualified may be able to confirm this for you.

below is a picture of an example I have, though this photo was taken some time ago - the sight itself is boxed away, but it will give you an idea of where the compass corrector fitted - the compass is housed above this, the outer adjustment ring visible to the top. - hope this helps...
The first one I believe to be a range control unit for the gyro gunsight --- there were different models of these used in both fighter and bombers. This part was a separate piece to the gunsight itself. I'm sorry I cant tell you any more about it, I found something similar on an internet search, but not identical.
