What was in this box, something to do with fuzes

Friend of mine just purchased this empty box, the label on the inside of the lid is pictured below, can anyone throw more light on the contents of the box & what it was used for & who would have used its contents please?

I know that the 2 fuzes mentioned are time fuzes, 199 is igniferous & the 207 is mechanical, other than that I am stumped!

Thanks, regards Ozzi.

Hello ozziammo, the label is too small to read. From other threads on the 199 I believe it was used with anti-aircraft ammo. I can't remember about the 207. The user would have been Royal Artillery I guess. From looking at Spotter's sticky on fuzes, the 207 was used with 3.7 inch AA ammo and was in service 1939 - 1941.

If you don't have any luck downloading the image and zooming in to the ozziammo's photo then try this. IT isn't my strong point so its a photo of my laptop screen. Hope it helps.

Thanks Dave, not bad effort.

Thanks for the replies, I am OK with where the fuzes were used but I don't know what the contents of the box were used for, maybe repairing fuze setters?????

Regards Ozzi.

Could it read 'exchange parts...'? might be to modify the setters to either type of fuze?...?

cheers
