I have these two magazines and am looking for info on them, not really my thing so will be selling/swapping but need to know what they are first so any info is appreciated.

It also appears that the Bren mag is loaded with fired 7.62 Blanks. These should be in the SLR mag.

Yes I filled both mags ages ago with a load of spare blank rounds i had laying around, they fitted so i assumed they were correct. I will empty both before I move them on.

One of the finest light machine guns in the World, bar none!

Can't agree more!
Easy access slap and push magazine, mega quick barrel change, easy access gas regulator, not to mention sniper rifle accuracy! Less parts than a VERY basic 2 lego set. Every family should have one (or two)

Hello Darren
Not a good idea to leave magazines charged (loaded) as it weakens the springs over time.

I will remember that for future, i have now taken all of the blank rounds out of these magazines.

Cheers,
Darren

I must admit I have always displayed my magazines with 1 round in just so you can see the ammo it took, 1 round will not do any damage to the springs and most springs will just stretch back anyway.

Richard.
