Wavre Militaria Fair & Waterloo Market

Very succesful (and not too expensive) weekend.
Went to Wavre yesterday & picked up some nice items.
French 1935 made 13.2 for the Hotchkiss, complete with correct bullet.
Brass German WWII 1938 3.7 case with APT proj.
3 Hispano 20mm Projs
37mm M17 case with AP proj
Nice French unloaded/unfired 1" flare case 1938
2 Sockleflak cases in v good cond
1903 German 37mm round
As yet un identified 1937 dated 37mm German round. case looks like a drill one but proj is an APT one painted black with a red `C` & 2 Waff stamps & 33 on copper drive band???
25mm unfired Hotchkiss proj APT (black tip)
& a nice 20mm vulcan round.

Today from Waterloo:
3 x WWI 76 x 229R cases V good cond & all different headstamps not the usual Belgian ones!
Nice 40mm MKIV bofors case 1943
Nice 18pr MKII 1917 case
2 unidentified 55 x 223R cases
US WWII infired 37mm M51B2 APT proj V good unfired cond.
V good cond 1903 150 x 112R (howitzer?) case. German.
Afraid no pics avail due to innability to upload!!

Looking forward to my next 6 month stint over here!!
 
You are doing well "over here"! I never visited Wavre yet, but seems I should.
 
It`s worth the visit. Not a lot of ordnance in the .50+ range but like most Fairs what is available on the day varies.
I will be going to the one in august as I return in mid July (finish next week here).
 
I bought my first shell at the Tongeren antique market not far from there when I was 15 years old...I REALLY need to take a visit back to Belgium...
