Goodmorning everybody,

once again I need your help to identify an unknown shell. I have absolutely no idea of his nationality and ID.

Length is approx 28 cm
Diameter is approx 14 cm

It present two lumps diametrical opposed and a nose fuze hole. Bottom is convex.

Can someone help me with the identification of this shell ? If this person should have a documentation reference, it should be better !!!

Great thanks in advance

Hello,
thanks for answer,

@ kz11gr : it is one possibility that we have found in our docs, but there are no bronze little buttons aside the bottom. Probably better view after cleaning.

@ alpini : the shell is actually in the workplace for cleaning up, wait, wait, wait,..., it is there not alone, there are other amunitions in the queue !

Yodamaster,

I thought I had seen a projectile like that before.
As I'm getting old I had to think a lot but here is a photo taken at Mary Le Roi (near Paris)

It looks a lot like it

Regards,

Chris
