A walk through the grounds excluding the cemetery, the naval aviation display AND the museum. I'll cover these next time I visit Annapolis.

The museum is excellent. The outside cannons at West Point are equally impressive as well as the museum. I encourage all those interested in ordnance and weapons to attend both academy grounds and museums!

Having a Spanish cruiser gun from Cuba taken during the Spanish-American war is about as cool a display item as you have. I am sure everyone walks by it daily without giving it a thought.

My general impression after visiting multiple US military bases with historic displays on the grounds is that unless you bump into a high ranking staff asking enlisted guys is useless. At Pendleton I stopped an older guy with golden insignia and he knew where the museum was. My daughter said he was O9. Also at Pendleton I was searching for Staff Sergeant Reckless statue and walked into the hotel asking hotel people, they had no clue. Here she is near the hotel.
Also, I agree about West Point Museum. But this post is about Annapolis.DSCF2660.jpg
