Has anyone seen anything like this? A roughly hemispherical cap 59mm diameter 46mm high with internal threads 56mm diameter. Non-magnetic shiny grey metal (stainless steel?) painted olive drab. Possibly related to Russian muntions.

It looks like the screw-off protective caps that are used to cover Russian time nose fuzes, but I haven't seen one that is so large in diameter. There is a short wide one for the 76mm gun. It might be for that.
