Could it have some thing to do with American Limpets as the adapter on the left 2 is American and the paint on the right one is Limpet Colour..... Dave
no markings at all and your guess is better than mine on its use with limpets there personally not mine a friend asked me about them and I racked my brain for a couple weeks with no luck figured there was way more years of knowledge here so threw them up for your thoughts
Being made of brass I wonder if these predate WW2, since most mine firing devices from WW2 and latter seem to be made of steel and low grade metal alloys (pot metal), at least for U.S. devices.
does not show up in any of my limpet files. Can you unscrew that tube to that does out from the right side? and if so what is in it? That appears to be a standard US base coupler on the left with the nipple for a non electric blasting cap. Also where does that bent metal wire go into in the device?
