Hi all,

we have found a lot of those items.
That seems to be a sort of electrical detonator, but no one ahve see this kind of deto.
Can someone help us with an identification and, if possible, with technical data ?

Length : 42,7 mm
Dia copper part : 5,17 mm
Dia "alu" part : 6,10 mm
Length "alu" part : 11,25 mm

The complete deto is apparently rolled in an old black paper packaging.
Dia paper : +/- 9,4 mm
Length paper : 29 mm

Wires are copper. Length of wires : +/-140 mm

Are you certain that it is a detonator? Some years back we had a call for similar appearing items, multi-piece and material construction, with a mass toward the base - we were puzzled for a long time, turned out that they were some sort of temperature unit. They were inserted into whatever, sealed into place and when the hit a certain temp they tripped a switch. See if you can get a decent X-Ray and determine if they have typical det internal construction -

I would tend to agree with US-subs. I have encountered similar items over the years which have all turned out to be sensor units.
