How big is it ???
Im not 100% it has a look of the striker assembly from a german rifle grenade gewehrhandgranate 40 ??
unfortunately i dont have one anymore to compare

More guess than proof, since I'am out of country, but it looks to me , that this might be the internal configuration of the FP 8001 fuze (impact fuze for the Panzerfaust 30, 60, 100)
The functioning is similar to the rifle grenade fuze , but the gas escape hole beside the striker is not accomodate in the rifle grenade base fuze, but in the Panzerfaust fuze. The outer housing of the fuze is missing, this are the internal parts. Sorry I can't provide more details right now.

Here is a link I found ..... http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/8521-Panzerfaust-fuse?highlight=panzerfaust

hope this is of some use

I thought I have seen similar but am unable to verify. If not Panzerfaust (looks similar but not exactly like that in the link) could it be a striker from a mine?

Sorry I should have said.

It's 39mm long when fully extended, and 24.5mm diameter. The Grossgewehrhandgranate fuzes are somewhat smaller.
