I got these three fuzes together with some other stuff and don't know, for what they are. All are inert of course. I have disassembled one of them.

Are there any markings? Im starting a collection of these devices and have been doing alot of searching and reading. Dont know why but I really like these little things.

I'll do some digging in my books later today to try for an identity,if someone else doesnt beat me to it.
If you dont collect them, consider a trade?

Hi,

if they are not WW1, I would trade them for something from that time period. Many thanks for doing research on them! I have two of both types.

Hi!

Big rare :tinysmile_twink_t2:

A big thank you for the ID! :tinysmile_classes_t

Ok, the following are for trade:

1 x No. 1 (maybe both, depending on the item, which may be for trade) ;)
2 x No. 2

Hi Pascal
It's simply a little part of top French bomb tail fuze 24/31 Schneider Remondy Modle 1938

And the same thing for you Jens
You have also a part of extractpin on the top part of the fuze (not complete)

Thanks doctor, the mystery is less dark ! Now, it will be more easy to find doc about this.

I know this is an old thread, nevertheless, I have the same fuze, and it doesn't make any sense how it works since it seems to be that the outer body is made of one piece so it only might work if a larger pressure force crushes the upper body. Also very strange that this device has no thread attachment so it should be for a special designed purpose. Anyone by now have an idea? I got my one approx. 14 years ago in Germany.
