Unknown Booster Adapter

Ok. I spent a few hours searching posts and forums. Came close a few times but Im still not sure.

Stamped in the steel,Mark III Boost Eclipse

Aprox 103mm in length and 45mm at the widest point and 38mm at the threads.

Help?

I posted a picture of the Mk III booster with a Mk V fuze not to long ago under WWI fuzes in the Fuze section of BOCN. Nice item you have, especially with the protective cover.
 
Thanks guys. And to a friend of mine who was right about the ID,Mr Karnack. I dont know what Id do with out you all.

And seems with the slight differences in stamped nomenclature,an early example,maybe preproduction sample or??

So,puts it in the WWI area.Where I dont belong.Maybe it needs a new home?
