Morning,

If this is indeed 120mm in diameter, then you'd be looking at a British 4.7inch projectile, with a No106 fuze.

Pete

The two possibilities are possible, but in my doc (surely uncomplete!), I didn't found a 4,7 inch with such a filling. I found only HE or Schrapnell filling !?
With beter dimensions could I beter find what it is. My ideas should will go to a 4,5 inch who have this type of filling plug, but is only 114 mm diameter and not 120 mm.

Thank you!
New foto you were right it not 120
Sorry I don't speak english

Thanks,

If that's 114mm then it'll be a British 4.5" projectile (Still with a No 106 fuze)

Pete ;-)

Looking at the position and width of the driving band and the position of the filling hole then yes this is a chemical projectile.

Hi
Yes 340mm without the fuze and which substance he is in shell.

Thanks

Sorry my English is bad.
