Left all my data library at home (hmmphf). Can anyone assist? Two items. One is marked MINE 1960 MINA 1960.. from the length of the pen perhaps 120-130mm dia. The other is an odd one for me. Has what appears to be an SAA case head and primer in one end. perhaps Zn or Al alloy. Regards ato 288

Hi Pedro,
Out of my range, but could be the part with "MINE" be a part of an Italian (possibly FIAT) made landmine?

Hi petrwarry,
looks a lot like a Tellermine 43 without pressure plate.

I think the aluminium part with the text MINA 1960 is from the Portugese AT mine MINA 1960, a in Portugal in licence produced Belgian PRB-M3A1. Only this part is normally from plastic.

Maybe a training version?

Here a picture from a mine found in Mali. (source: J.Faraday@CTstudies)
You can see the markings MINE 1960 and MINA 1960
The Lotcode is BMP 1-16.

So Belgium.

But why is the part Pedro found from aluminium? Normal is this part of the mine plastic.
