On the 22nd of May I posted a request for identification for an item found here in Italy, in the British action area of the landing of Anzio (Operation Shingle).
Please find herewith some pictures of the item after an initial cleanup with electrolysis.
Your assistance is still highly appreciated.

look like some kind of hook n eye part from a boat,somekind of clamp
