Hi Dennis,
I think they are bomb whistles. See attached photo

Many thanks for the photos and information.
Are there any documents with the measurements of the jericho gerät? So I can compare them with the ones I have found ?
Thanks in advance
Grtz Dennis

Lenght 14" (355mm) diameter 1.5" (38mm)
Though diameter is compatible, I am doubtful:
The jericho gerät were usually made of a card board tube with tappered wood nose and cylindrical wood base.
To the best of my knowledge, German documentation mentions only this cardboard version.
Allied intelligence dcumentation mentions that some were made from scrap ww1 bayonet scabbards. These had three triangular cuts made in the edge of the steel scabbard.

For information the US Navy copy of this device "Bomb Whistkle Mk1 Mod1" was 1.5" diameter (38mm) and 15.5" length (394mm) and made of sheet metal.

The German types are two-piece in the drawing with the bombs. There certainly had to be development variants, i.e. other solutions. In the picture, when preparing the bombs for the hanger, it has only one part (the front part is removed? ). The devices are turned longitudinally for stabilization (the air holes are not equally rotated) ... and are attached with a screw through the stabilization wing (2x)

Hi dreamk I can see why you have doubts... but if you look close the size of the tubes are almost right. And the little hole is on the right spot .
