TM 9-1901 Artillery Ammunition 1944 - high quality colour PDFs

Well-Known Member
Hi all :hello:,

At long last here is TM 9-1901 Artillery Ammunition 1944 in 4 very high quality PDFs. Nearly the same quality as the original manual and with beautiful colour illustrations. I had file size issues as the original PDF I created came in at 960 MB. To upload to Scribd I had to produce 4 PDFs based on the chapters and then optimise them using Acrobat 9 Pro Extended to further reduce size but not quality.

These PDFs can be read using Acrobat 8 or later.

These will take a while to download. The file sizes are respectively 52 MB, 243 MB, 196 MB, & 46 MB.

Once you have downloaded these files, if you have PDF software you can then combine them into the one PDF file.

Below is an example of some of the pages.

Happy downloading,
Cheers,

Thats an awesome job Bougainville ,true dedication to the cause.
I struggle to scan single page docs!

Thanks
Bob

Bougainville,

All I can say is, you had better get a lot of scribd credit for going to all the trouble to create such a high quality document. Thanks for your work.

Many thanks for all of your possative feedback. It is great to see it being appreciated.

A lot of work in preparing it but if it helps fellow collectors in the BOCN community it has all been worth while. It is all about helping to strenghting that community spirit.

Unfortunately though I couldn't upload them to BOCN as if I reduced the size of the larger files anymore then quality would've been sacrificed.

Excellent scan job & commendable effort!

This is truly beautiful Bougainville!

Thanks a lot, I owe you one.

I have an original copy of Bombs for Aircraft (TM 9-1980, November 1944) and TM 9-1900, 3 July 1942, but I haven't scanned them yet.

If you need a copy of one or both, let me know and I'll send you a high quality PDF as soon as I have scanned them.

My E-mail address is scansite@planet.nl.

Thank you & Regards,

Carl.

Hi Karl,
Have been offline due to computor troubles. I'm glad that you have found the PDF usefull. Also many thanks for your offer. I also have original copies of both those manuals that you have mentioned and will hopefully manage to scan and produce the appropiate PDF files sometime this year. I'm currently bogged down with "Priced Vocabulary of Stores used in His Majesty's Service - 1915"

Cheers,
