British world war one Transverse fuse which was used for training.

Crickey i would never have guessed that in a million years

Do you have any idea what ordnance it would have been used for training

I was sure "EX" was a German marking meaning practice ? Either way would think its a practice base fuze for a artillery shell.

Thanks, ithink this will be interesting as so far it has been established that it is a training fuse, but now who for and what ordnance.

I will clean it up and look for any more markings.

Also it looks like someone has used an end of a flat point screwdriver to indent the word EX.

Thanks Tomo

Great help to pin this one down.

Hi
It's seem to be the base gaine for german WW1 shell fitted for live with Kz BdZ 10 at the place of the plug

Sorry

Hi
After research, i'm Sorry for my first post, it's not the gaine for german shell with Kz BdZ 10
