storage and display racks for bullets

I use old printers drawers..you can find them in Antique shops...turn them sideways for the longer rounds...you can even put plexy glass over them if you want...I just hang them on the wall.

Thanks for the tip. These Storage Trays with the small cut out at the base are almost made for rimmed cartridges like the .303.
Any idea what kind of material these trays are made of? Is it plastic?

Im assuming that they are plastic. I am ordering some so will be able to confirm this when they arrive.

Here are some quick pics of the trays, holding 7.62x51, .30-06, .303, .577/450, .223, 9mm, .455, . 600, .700 & a german anti tank thingy round. The trays are made of plastic and have 21 grooves.

I contacted the compnay a few months back and they said the mould was being redesigned. The trays should be back in stock later this year.

Thanks Tony, i see alot of collectors use corrugated cardboard is this ok and what type is best? also i have heard it can stain the brass is this correct?

Andy,
I've had my cartridges laid out on corrugated cardboard for the last twenty years and it hasn't affected them in the slightest. Apparently its down to the amount of acid used in the manufacture of the cardboard. I doubt if there's any reliable way to establish whether the cardboard you intend to use would be damaging or not - perhaps a litmus paper test might be a good idea?

Thanks Jim, i think i will do that as its one of the cheapest ways to go, more money for ammo :)
cheers

Be careful with old wooden drawers, the wood can release fumes which will corrode the cartridges.

Hi Falcon, yes it dose, my friend had made a cabinet and after a week or so all the brass discoloured and were covered with a sticky film.
