Same here Andy.....another SA glitch again....shame really as I was going to spend thousands on there today,ah well spend it down the pub instead!

All i get now is "Too many connections" on a white page.... glad i wasn't bidding on anything...

Hi all - yep I`m getting white screen with `Too many connections`??!!
Shame as I had feedback to leave & money to spend!!
Very succesfull day at Needham Lakes car boot today!!
Off to pub it is then!

People could always use the classifieds section on BOCN.............it works well for me.

Dave.

It's back up & running now . SG500 makes a good point about the BOCN classifieds , great site !

I agree with Dave too.....great way to sell your unwanted items of ordnance, apart from the absence of a direct pay pal link (yes I hate pay pal too but a lot of people use it),however I have used our classifieds before now and never sold anything, took it off and put it on SA and it had bids on it within a couple of days..and from a BOCN member!,rather strange really as on SA you do pay fees!...could this be a case of our classifieds need a really good premotional 'bump'?....many of us use SA ect to good effect so maybe with a small tweek here and there it could really take off and it would be nice to keep our spares, odds and sods ect within the BOCN family

Could Bolo do something perhaps so when new items are added to classifieds they are highlighted somewhere on the front BOCN page to let people know. When someone posts a new thread or reply its highlighted as something new but not so with Classifieds. I'm always of fan of keeping things in the club so to speak and have all sorts of spares to dispose of.
Dave.

Seems to be working fine now. It may not be their website.

Recent changes to Microsoft Explorer has meant that it may not work with all websites (it's true). I couldn't update my own website the other week and we traced the problem back to the Browser.

If you can, download Firefox and try that with Specialist Auctions. I'm using Firefox and it works far better than Explorer at present.

Hi Dave and Tony,
I am sure that it could be done so that any new listings in the classifieds show up on the home page. I have had some really good deals using the forum to sell and trade/buy, it's fee free and and has a feedback system, as mentioned it just needs a bit more promotion.
Best regards Weasel.
