German 77mm field gun carry basket (3 rounds) US 75mm HE with tin carry or shipping can. Brit 2.95 inch carry box with closed cylinders. Brit 2.95 inch box with open sides. Side view of Russian carry box for 4 rounds shrapnel.

Yes, from my collection. I have another neat box for German 9cm bag gun projectiles, but there were a couple of 6 inch projectiles sitting on top of it and my back did not feel up to moving them...........................

Frizzen,

The 18 pounder basket you have is used inside the Ammunition limber to hold the rounds,I have a WWI 18 pounder Limber in my collection and need to locate 28 missing baskets.........................not an easy task !
