Coiled case

It is a .360" x 2 1/4" Miniature Express and was usually used in double rifles for medium game.

The normal charge was 50 grains of Blackpowder and bullet weight was 155 grains in this early type. Later, in the full nitro express version with a drawn brass case bullet weights of 250 or even 300 grains were offered.
