Does anyone know where I could get a reproduction of this WW2 poster ? I have looked on the net, but cannot find this one. It would look great on my wall :cheer: Tony.

Hi Waff, Yes it's all English, I think this was aimed at the Home Front market, presumably to help stop Children and Adults picking up things and taking them to pieces. Top row; No 76 SIP grenade, No 77 WP grenade. Second row, No 73 A/TK grenade, No 69 bakelite grenade. Third row, No 36M Mills grenade, 2" HE mortar, No 74 A/TK grenade aka The Sticky Bomb. Fourth row, 25 pr HE shell ? No 68 A/TK grenade. Bottom, 3" mortar HE shell. Tony.

I think it was at Newhaven Fort in Sussex, well worth a visit if anyone is in the area.

Thanks for the links Daz, I have been looking for ages too. You can get loads of other posters, but not this one. Tony.

Have you tried emailing your request to the Imperial War museum, they sometimes do copies of posters etc at a reasonable fee, hope this helps.:)

It may be just a tad too late. But, the artist of this poster is abram games. Google him and you will find a printable image of this and the other 2 in the series. I printed them off quite easily. Hope this is of help 6841359688_2c6f2a1163_z.jpggames-curiosity_pppa.jpginside.jpg
