ORDNANCE APPROVED
Ordnance approved
RAOS, Regulations for Army Ordnance Services were pamphlets listing procedures covering all aspects of stores, ammunition, repair, and supply of items and services covered by the RAOC (Royal Army Ordnance Corps) of the British Army.

The following is a list of those titles that I have discovered so far as of 18/09/20
Those outlined in green are titles I current have in my collection

Some titles are of more interest to an ammunition collector than others

One important thing about RAOS pamphlets is that they were occasionally updated with new information or corrections. These could be as simple as writing a word or sentece by hand, cutting out from the ammendment sheet a certain paragraph and pasting it in such a way that the original text is still visible, or inserting entirely new pages. A record of the ammendments was listed inside the front cover.

Considering the number of pamphets printed over the years you can imaging my astonishment when I discovered that on of my pamphlets has a record of ammendments signed by one of our members!! A certain Cpl "Bonnex" :D (name with held, obviously)
