this is a 1924 handbok for the 18 pdr. Interestingly it shows the paint and stencil markings on the base of the case (these do turn up with these markings still on them) and the correct colour scheme for practice rounds - most of the fired 18 pdrs in collections should probably be this colour as they were probably picked up on the ranges shortly after being fired.
